An ASBL may seek funding from public bodies and foundations. Its legal status does not guarantee eligibility: location, sector, eligible expenditure and submission dates matter.

Where to look

• Wallonia: project calls — filter by audience and topic.
• Brussels: project financing with hub.brussels.
• Wallonia-Brussels Federation: cross-sector cultural support and performing arts support.
• European Union: find funding.

Also contact your municipality or province about local support. These portals cover multiple schemes; not all accept ASBL applications or remain open year-round.

Prepare your application

Read each call’s rules and deadline. Prepare a project description, timetable, budget and financing plan. Check co-financing requirements, spending before approval, supporting evidence and final reporting.
